The Annual Institutional Report (AIR) is a yearly requirement separate and apart from any reports or documents required during the evaluation process. All institutions, including those currently undergoing reevaluation or preparing for any type of evaluation, must submit this report.

THE REPORTING PERIOD IS JULY 1, THROUGH JUNE 30th of each year.

The on-line report and back-up documentation must be submitted by September 15. The catalog and AIR cover page must be postmarked by September 15.  Please be sure your submission includes a current institutional catalog on CD-ROM and a print-out of the AIR cover sheet.

All items must be electronically submitted by September 15.

The Annual Institutional Report (AIR) is completed and submitted on-line. All ACICS-accredited institutions will have an ID Code and password assigned for login purposes. The online submission of the AIR is due September 15 of each year.  Institutional catalogs and the printed cover page must be postmarked no later than September 15. Materials not submitted by the due dates, will result in a $500 late fee. Failure to submit the AIR in a timely manner will result in the revocation of accreditation.

The AIR consists of three separate sections:  Institutional Data, Program Data, and Backup Data. All data submitted must be accompanied with appropriate backup documentation. A complete AIR consists of the institutional data along with any programmatic data for all programs that were in operation during the reporting period.

Information for the Annual Institutional Report will be sent to all accredited institutions by August 15 of each year. This correspondence will include the institution’s ID Code and new password.

Online Submission of Reports

All currently accredited main and branch campuses are required to file the Annual Institutional Report and supporting documentation online. Click here to complete and submit the AIR.

Retention and Placement Information

Restrictions on New Activities

Institutions which are required to report placement and or retention data and submit a corrective action plan to bring the rates up in keeping with the expectations of ACICS may be restricted from beginning a new program without first securing permission from ACICS.
