Events and Workshops

Each year, ACICS hosts several workshops for accredited members and initial applicants to learn more about its criteria, policies, and procedures, and to share information and ideas on current issues involving proprietary institutions. To accommodate member institutions, workshops and events may be held in cities throughout the United States. Furthermore, ACICS hosts its annual meeting, which all ACICS-accredited institutions are invited to attend to learn more about the Council's activities during the year and to meet and greet other member institutions at the welcoming reception.



If you have not received a confirmation letter, you are not officially registered. Please do not make hotel or airline reservations if you did not receive an e-mail confirmation. 

If you enroll in a workshop and cannot attend, you have two options:
1) Transfer your registration (one time) to another individual or workshop; or 
2) Cancel the registration. 
All requests for cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing. Please send them, via email, to Perliter Walters-Gilliam ( Cancellations made two weeks before the workshop will be subject to a 25% processing fee. Cancellation requests received after the two-week cutoff will NOT be honored. 

The workshop registration fee includes all workshop materials, continental breakfast, and lunch. Registration fees do not include transportation or hotel accommodations. You will be registered for a workshop only when you receive an email confirmation from ACICS. 

There is a maximum number of participants who may enroll in each workshop. It is important to register early to ensure a space at the workshop of your choice.
