Accreditation Workshop
The Accreditation Workshop is a one-day workshop that provides an overview of the ACICS accreditation process, including a review of the common areas of noncompliance with the Accreditation Criteria on new grant visits, evaluation visit policies and procedures, self-study preparation, and accreditation maintenance requirements. This workshop is required for all institutions applying for a new grant of accreditation. The chief on-site administrator or self-study coordinator must attend an accreditation workshop within 18 months prior to the submission of the self-study. The workshop registration fee is $495 with a reduced early bird fee of $475 for registrations received or postmarked by Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

Evaluator Training Workshop
The Evaluator Training Workshop is a one-day workshop that provides a discussion of the role of the evaluator during an ACICS accreditation visit. The workshop presenter will focus on visit planning, processes and procedures in conducting institutional evaluations and writing the evaluation report. The workshop is designed for new evaluators who have at least five years of program work experience in a technical, educational or vocational field. There is no registration fee to attend this workshop; however you must register in advance to attend. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.
Initial Accreditation Workshop
The Initial Applicant Workshop provides an introduction to the ACICS accreditation process, how to prepare for new grants of accreditation, and addresses frequently asked questions. The fee to attend this workshop is $1,000 and is by invitation only. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.
